Nesting aid for black vulture, Egyptian vulture, Bonelli’s eagle, black stork and lesser kestrel
Construction of platforms for the Bonelli’s eagle
Construction of six nesting platforms in Vale do Coa, and six in Tagus International as an incentive for the Bonelli’s Eagle to nest in trees. This measure can also be useful to other species such as the Red Kite or the Black Stork.
Placement of nests for Lesser Kestrels
In Spain, where more than 90% of the nesting pairs of Lesser Kestrels are usually installed in buildings, the restoration of buildings reduces the availability of holes considerably. The conditioning and improvement of nesting spots is a key action for this species in the whole area of action of LIFE in the West of Iberia.
