Riscos del Águeda: 420 hectares in El Rebollar

This is a Reserve managed by Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre since 2003. Located in the province of Salamanca, in the municipalities of Martiago and Pastores. It presents an attractive mosaic of environments, with oak forests surrounding the slopes of the Sierra de Gata. The lower areas are populated by meadows and Mediterranean mountains.

There is an abundant faunal community such as the black-winged kite, black vulture, short-toed eagle and Egyptian vulture. Among the mammals, the deer or genet stand out and, until a few years ago, the Iberian lynx was present.
