In the case of Campo de Azaba, Golf Argañán and Malcata, the dehesas are subjected in many cases to overexploitation, due to several factors. For instance, the increasing prunings for firewood, short of branches mother in order to facilitate machining work; intensification of agricultural production at the foot of the trees, plows that prevent the normal development of flora, high stocking, hunting, very intensive pruning to increase production of acorns in the montanera, fences, etc.

The Levels decreasing water,  logging thickets, trampling and especially eutrophication equally affect wetlands (natural eutrophic lakes, temporary ponds) and formations riparian (gallery forests of Salix alba and Populus alba, alluvial forests with Alnus glutinosa and Fraxinus excelsior) and thermomediterranean riparian galleries and thickets, resulting in a small area and inadequate conservation status that affects many species that depend on them.
