Nature and Man Foundation (FNYH) manages a series of nature reserves through its Areas Program for life

This program was created to provide a sustainable management of a series of areas, selected for their natural values. This is a management that complements traditional forms of protection.

The management of reserves included in the network, is sustained by management tool called land stewardship. It is based on the establishment of agreements between FNyH and the ownership of the land, so that space conservation is promoted, as well as its natural, cultural and landscape values and sustainable use of resources. FNYH acts as custody management entity guarded space.

Over the years, the Areas Program for Life has created an extensive network of reserves, representative of various habitats. This is a dynamic program that allows interaction between the owners of the reserves and the custodian entity, in this case FNyH.
