Privately owned, whose management has been transferred to Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre by a land stewardship agreement. The Moheda del Marqués is a property located in the province of Caceres, with an area of approximately 360 hectares. It is included in the Parque Natural Tajo Internacional and in the LIC (SAC) Río Erjas. The estate hosts a representation of the most emblematic bird population of the Iberian Peninsula: Spanish imperial eagle, Bonelli’s eagle, golden eagle, griffon vulture, black vulture, black stork and Egyptian vulture. Among the most notable protected plant species it is found the Portuguese iris (Iris lusitanica).
