BBVA Foundation Award for Conservation and Biodiversity, in its 13th edition, for its project “Oeste Ibérico:La Conservación del Gran Ecosistema.“2018.
For the impact that the project has had at the regional and transboundary level on the conservation of threatened ecosystems, as well as endangered species, in an area of the Iberian Peninsula particularly rich in biodiversity. For being an emblematic project in land stewardship and restoration and for its integrating character of the rural environment into the conservation of the environment.
Ones Mediterrànea Award 2020
Special Mention Mediterranean Seal in its 26th edition for the Project: Green Ring of the Bay of Santander: connecting nature and the city to be a sustainable initiative, at the level of mobility and conservation of the ecosystem, which has materialized thanks to the will and joint work of the municipalities of the areas near the Bay of Santander, as well as other public administrations and Civilian entities. The work of the Nature and Man Foundation is acknowledged, without the coordination of which the Green Ring would not be a reality.
Ones Mediterrànea Award 2010
This award rewards the work of defending protected areas linked to the Bay of Santander, carried out through the collaboration of both entities. Among these spaces are the reserves linked to the Green Ring of the Bay of Santander.
Augusto González Linares 2006
The Nature and Man Foundation wins the Augusto González Linares Environmental Award given by the University of Cantabria and the Ministry of Environment of the Government.
The “Augusto González de Linares” Prize is intended to value works that have contributed to advances in research or environmental management of natural resources.
The award went to FNYH for its dedication to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, research and the promotion of environmental education to encourage citizen participation in environmental improvement.
Environment Award Government of Cantabria
The Nature and Man Foundation wins the Cantabria Environment Prize awarded by the Ministry of Environment, for non-profit entities and associations.
The award went to FNYH for its dedication to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, research and the promotion of environmental education to encourage citizen participation in environmental improvement.
Nomination for the Dubai International Prize 1998
The Areas for Life Programme. Creating a network of municipal protected spaces, Camargo (Spain) receives the nomination for the Dubai International Prize.
The Dubai International Award is part of the United Nations Best Practices and Local Leadership Programme and recognizes initiatives that contribute to the promotion of effective policies and strategies for sustainable human settlements development through the sharing of information and knowledge on proven experiences and solutions.
The United Nations Best Practices and Local Leadership Programme was born at the Second United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (HABITAT II), June 1996. Istanbul, Turkey. As instruments to achieve this objective, the Programme is based mainly on two initiatives:
-International Dubai Prize
-Database of Good Practices published on the Internet.
Rural Quality Seal Valles Pasiegos 2016.
Awarded by the local action group of the Pasiegos Valleys for the work carried out from the Ecomuseum -Fluviarium de Liérganes, dedicated to the knowledge and enhancement of the Pasiegos nature and cultural heritage.
Brand Award at the 4th edition of the Cantabria 2020 Executive Awards.
For his record in conservation projects on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its establishment.
