FOUNDATION
The Nature and Man Foundation was created in 1994 by a small group of people passionate about nature who started the Foundation.
Its foundational objectives encourage:
- Conservation of the natural heritage and traditional human activities, establishing an integrated vision between man and the environment.
- Protected Natural Areas, paying particular attention to those at municipal level in collaboration with the municipalities and participating in their management.
- The restoration of ecosystems and the recovery of endangered species of wild flora and fauna, consistent with sustainable development, the safeguarding of ethnographic heritage, environmental research and education.
During this period, the Foundation has developed a large number of actions, among which we can highlight:
- Wetland restoration.
- Forest conservation.
- Creation of a network of municipal reserves.
- Recovery of plant and faunal species.
- Production of native forest species in nurseries.
- Production of documentaries.
